- which bird produces milk?
The pigeon is one of the only three bird species (the other being flamingo and male emperor penguins) known to produce milk to feed their young. In Pigeons the milk starts to be produced in the crop of the parent birds two days before eggs hatch.
- Who claimed North America for England?
Italian sailor and explorer John Cabot lahir Giovanni Caboto around 1450. In 1479, Cabot traveled by sea to Canada, where he made a claim to land for England, mistaking the North America land for Asia.
- How long does the food stay in your stomach?
After you eat, it takes about six to eight hours for food to pass through your stomach and small intenstine. Food then enters your large intenstine (colon) for further digestion, absorption of water and, finally elimination of undigestive food.
- When does the brain stop growing?
We used to think that the brain was fully developed by very early teenagerhood and we now realize that the brain does not stop developing until mid-20s or even early 30s. There s a lot more information and Evidence to suggest that actually brain development in various forms goes on throughout the life span.
- What kind of bees can sting more than once?
Wasps and many bees can sting more than once because they are able to pull their stinger without injuring themselves. Only honeybees have special hooks on their stinger that keep the stinger in the skin after a person is stung. The stinger gets torn out of the bee s body as it tries to fly away.
